Two of South Africa's biggest names in music shared a moment that melted hearts across Mzansi. Makhadzi and Grammy-winning pop star Tyla came face to face backstage at the 32nd South African Music Awards (SAMA32), and the warmth between them was impossible to miss.
The encounter followed a memorable on-stage gesture from Tyla, who called Makhadzi and other South African artists up to join her after collecting the International Achievement Award. Rather than standing alone in her victory, Tyla used the moment to honour the artists she credits as part of her inspiration and journey.
