Her brother, Steven, confirmed the news to TMZ on Wednesday, revealing that Debbie passed away at her home in Boston after her pacemaker "gave out." He added that her family was present with her at the time.

According to Clark's son, Clayton, gave a heartbreaking account of his mother's final moments, telling the outlet that she had "overworked herself," which he believes ultimately caused her pacemaker to stop working.

Clayton disclosed that Debbie died in his arms before paramedics could reach her. Despite their efforts to resuscitate her, they were unsuccessful. Clayton suspects cardiac arrest as the cause of death, though this has not been officially confirmed.

To help cover the costs of spreading Debbie's ashes, Clayton created a GoFundMe fundraiser, which had raised nearly $800 of its $3,500 goal at the time of writing.
