Somizi Mhlongo has never been one to shy away from a frank conversation, and a recently circulated podcast clip proves exactly that. Somizi breaks down the LGBTQ+ spectrum

Using what he described as a “5-year-old" explainer, Somizi walked through each letter of the LGBTQ+ acronym before arriving at the "+" category, where he places himself. "If our souls and energies connect and I'm attracted to you, it doesn't matter whether you're a guy or a girl or a trans or whatever.”

He also added a second label: sapiosexual. According to Somizi, intelligence is a non-negotiable prerequisite for attraction. He said bluntly, adding that he can tell within seconds of a conversation whether someone meets the bar.

"I will never get a hard-on if you are dumb.”
