Prince Kaybee had no idea the internet was waiting for him when he posted a video from New York on 20 September 2026. The South African DJ and producer shared footage from an overseas performance, thanking Miami and New York for the love, while back home the Scorpion Kings were pulling a massive crowd at FNB Stadium.
A fan, @LedgeSniper, quickly connected the dots and asked whether he would have attended the Scorpion Kings show had he been in the country.
Kaybee's reply was blunt: "No, I don't go outside ever unless if I'm training on a bicycle or riding a motorcycle. If it wasn't for the people in my life, I wouldn't even go to restaurants."
What Maphorisa said about Kaybee
The post took another turn when fan @Mike42726245 asked whether Kaybee had heard what DJ Maphorisa said about him during a Podcast and Chill interview. Kaybee responded with a simple "No, what happened?" and Mike replied, "He said you are mad." Kaybee's breezy reaction caught many off guard, particularly given the history between the two artists.

Back in 2020, Kaybee had publicly shut down any suggestion of beef between them, tweeting: "Aybo I'm not beefing, @DjMaphorisa is a good peer of mine, we even planning a car spinning contest, akere Phori?"

"Why wouldn't you support local artists? Your excuse for staying indoors or riding your motorcycle is honestly childish. Why not show up and support other artists?
