Grammy-winning artist Chris Brown has gone public with a fiery rebuttal after court documents surfaced detailing serious allegations from model Diamond Brown, the mother of his youngest daughter. The singer took to his Instagram Stories, later reposted by The Shade Room, to dispute the claims head-on and accuse Diamond of keeping him away from their child.

What Chris Brown said on Instagram

Chris Brown did not hold back, opening his rant with a blunt declaration. He went on to challenge the idea that any form of equal co-parenting exists between them, insisting that he is the sole financial provider. He wrote:

He added that a false narrative was fueling the situation in family court. Most strikingly, he revealed he had not had contact with four-year-old Lovely Symphani in seven months. Chris brown wrote, questioning what Diamond tells Lovely when their daughter asks about her father.

"I haven’t seen my daughter in 7 months. I don’t care about this bitter babymomma or who she dates. I care about my child."

The custody battle behind the outburst

The public fallout stems from an escalating legal dispute in which Brown is seeking joint legal and physical custody of Lovely, while Diamond is pushing for primary custody and an increase in financial support. Newly filed court documents also include allegations that Brown made death threats against Diamond's recent boyfriend and his twin brother, claims that Brown's legal team has formally denied.

Diamond has also disputed Brown's account of the $10,000 monthly payment, keeping the back-and-forth very much alive online.

The repost drew a wave of reactions

@meke917 leaned into the humour of the $10,000 figure, writing:

"$10K a month... If I was the boyfriend, I would be getting that baby diaper bag ready right now. 😂 Let's go see DaDa. 😂😂"

@lee.jarell questioned the framing of fatherhood through financial support alone:

"This is something I'll never understand about men: four baby mamas, yet he's a 'good father' because he pays some bills? 🙄🤨 please."

@beauxtiful_intentionz_36 urged Brown to pursue his legal rights directly:

"Baby, go to court and access your rights; be a physically present father in your daughter’s life so she can quit holding your baby hostage."

@sammies0saa captured the divided sentiment with:

"She made me side with a man. 😩"

@missmimmi_1 directed her frustration squarely at Diamond:

"@chrisbrownofficial you're not obligated to your ex... you're being too nice (rich or not)... she isn't your wife and the only person you should take care of is your daughter!"
