Nota Baloyi is back in the spotlight, and this time it's over breakfast. The controversial music executive shared a cosy, handheld clip on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, showing his 21-year-old girlfriend presenting him with a loaded breakfast tray, and the internet has not stopped talking since.

The informal video, filmed in what appears to be a home kitchen or dining area, captures a black plate stacked with fried eggs, bacon, sautéed peppers, creamed spinach and sliced bananas. The relaxed, selfie-style footage gives off a distinctly domestic vibe, but it was anything but low-key once Nota posted it to his X account.

Breakfast plate steals the show

Before anyone could weigh in on the relationship itself, the food combination had people baffled. @ldmmodise was first to raise an eyebrow:

"Never in my life have I seen spinach on the same plate as eggs and bananas."

But the conversation quickly shifted from the plate to the pair.

The clip arrives amid lingering criticism over the age gap between Nota and his young girlfriend, and posting her in this way did not sit well with everyone. @MrPakwe wrote:

"These are low self-esteem moves. I understand why Berita had to let you go. You're violating this girl's privacy and autonomy."

@Jakalasi777 went further, offering a broader observation:

"Ladies if a guy shows you off like this on internet (half-dressed), just know that you not the one but you just his property to get credit from Amajita ukuthi udla into enjani. But if he complains about you showing off your body, you are the one, uyiMama."

@judap echoed that sentiment:

"Nah, let the man be happy, and he looks peaceful, guys… Also, the young lady is happy, moos; just let them be…Nota been through a lot just enjoy my guy... well deserved 💯"

"This is beautiful. Delete cameras because the devil's favourites are here with us."

Meanwhile, @Ndaba_2025 offered Nota a word of caution from a place of goodwill:
