Real estate agent Nyiko Khoza has broken his silence on his relationship with transgender personality Dominic Zaca, using a podcast appearance to set the record straight on two of the biggest questions swirling around the pair.

Khoza sat down with Yolanda Mukondeleli on the Loud Wednesdays podcast on 14 October 2026, where he tackled speculation about both his sexual identity and his finances head-on.

When the topic of sexual orientation came up, Khoza was clear that being with a transgender woman does not place him in any single category.

"Me being with a trans woman does not change or define my orientation," he said.

He went on to use a nightclub scenario to illustrate his point, explaining that in a room with five straight women and one transgender woman, the trans woman would often turn out to be the most attractive person there. He stressed that he does not necessarily identify as gay, but that he finds transgender women genuinely and deeply attractive.

Nyiko Khoza shuts down "sugar baby" claims

Khoza was equally firm about the narrative that Dominic is bankrolling his life. He said the suggestion makes no sense given that he had already built a successful career in property before the two ever met.

"I've made good money off real estate; how is it [my lifestyle] funded by my partner? It doesn't make sense."

The interview comes weeks after Dominic Zaca made headlines over a separate controversy involving her former partner Anathi Mvambi, in which she publicly accused him of physical and emotional abuse.
