EFF leader Julius Malema is turning heads after sitting down with presenter and entrepreneur Nandi Madida for The Motherhood Network's Election Series — and people want in on the conversation.
The Economic Freedom Fighters shared the news on X on Friday, 16 October 2026, revealing that Malema had recorded a podcast with Madida in which he shared his vision for South Africa, mothers, and children ahead of the 4 November 2026 Local Government Elections.
Motherhood Network's election series
The Motherhood Network launched its Election Series to bridge the gap between South African mothers and the political leaders who are asking for their vote. The initiative gives mothers a direct line to party leaders across the political spectrum before they head to the polls.

Malema is the second guest in the series. Action SA leader Herman Mashaba kicked things off, with his episode premiering on 11 October 2026. The EFF president's appearance signals the kind of broad political range the platform is aiming for, covering vastly different ideological corners of South African politics.
The EFF posted about the sit-down on X with the caption: "President @Julius_S_Malema had a sit-down conversation with Ms Nandi Madida on the Motherhood Network podcast. The President shared his vision for South Africa, Mothers, and Children. Don't miss it. #VoteEFF2026 #VictoryOrDeath."
