A short video of a young man living in Lagos state who pays R71 000 yearly rent for his Lekki apartment has stirred massive reactions on TikTok.

Speaking with a popular Nigerian content creator, Wales Morgan, the man was hesitant about giving a tour of his apartment.

Nigeria's leading news website Legit.ng earlier reported that the same Morgan, in another video, asked a Lagos resident how much he paid for his apartment yearly.

When the man told him N1.180m, the content creator asked him to give a tour of the house for people to see.

Lady pays N800k yearly rent

In similar news, a young Nigerian lady in a video revealed the amount she paid yearly for a small apartment on the island in Lagos state.

She was one of the people that fielded questions about their house rents in a viral clip. After stating that she paid R14 700 annually, she did a short tour of the house.
