Five days ago, a young South African student, Owami Mako, shared how his teaching practicals were going in a viral TikTok video.

The youngster filmed a video of himself during a lesson and struggled to read a sentence due to his stuttering. The learners were amused by the teacher’s "problem" and laughed at him.
Mako assured Mzansi that he was fine and that he carried on with the lesson. People online showered him with sweet messages in the comments of his now-viral video.

On Tuesday, a student teacher shared a glimpse of how his practicals were going. Owami Mako, who has a stuttering problem, shared how difficult his job can be.

He tried to read for his students, but his stuttering got in the way. His learners could not keep their laughter in and giggled.
Mako explained that he was not offended and shared that all he cared about was delivering a good lesson. The youngster shared in his caption:
“The kids legit called me Mr Ahh ahh ahh.”
Mako carried on with his lesson, which was an interactive reading exercise with the class. He took a second to breathe when it was the learners’ turn to read.
