Majezi’s mother, who lives in the Mother City, packed tripe and froze it for two days so that it would not melt and ruin on the two-hour flight back to Johannesburg. The woman explained that there’s barely any meat in Gauteng and would go back to Cape Town just for the food.
Majezi also visited her favourite fish and chips spot, Stikland Fisheries, and bought dinner for her family. The lady said:
“If you were on the Cape Town to Lanseria and you smelled fish, I’m so sorry. It was all me who smelled up the flight because I always come back with food.”
She captioned her clip:
“I would never leave the food behind. I would rather leave my clothes.”
