A young South African Zulu lady from Durban made waves online after she shared the cost breakdown of her graduation preparations.

She opted for a Nigerian-inspired look, which many people bashed her for. The youngster stunned in a gele, which is a gorgeous East African headpiece that cost her R650.
She then bought a R1200 weave to achieve a sleek ponytail look that was R1200 to install, including makeup. The graduate bought beige shoes that perfectly matched her dress for R1K.

The graduate shared that her dress was custom-made. Although she did not provide how much she paid her dressmaker, she highlighted that the material itself was R1500.

Both her manicure and pedicure were R200; she hit a great bargain with that one. The youngster hired her regalia for R350 for the ceremony and paid a photographer R650 for good-quality pictures.
Her sister gifted her flowers, and her family paid for the graduation dinner. The people of Mzansi were stunned by how much money the young lady spent on a one-day event, while others complimented and congratulated her on her milestone.
The total cost of her big day was R6,750. She captioned her now-viral post:
