The informative clip, shared on TikTok by @timstudyfetch, gained massive views and an outpouring of gratitude and positive engagement.

The young man begins his video by outlining his two easy steps for learning history. His first step involves creating a step-by-step bulletin of your notes, which he emphasises will form the core of your essays. For those short on time, he suggests using AI tools like Study Fetch to generate notes. He also reminds learners to convert these into bullet points for easier readability and retention.

The two easy steps to learn history

Step two is all about internalising the information. He advises spending an hour or so learning these bullet points and then retelling them to yourself as a story. He asserts that once you can recount the story without looking at your notes, you've mastered the content. He, however, cautions that forgetting to carry an argument throughout your narrative can lead to trouble in your essay.

The gent then details a three-paragraph essay structure with a straightforward conclusion. He explains that the first paragraph should directly answer the essay question. The subsequent two paragraphs must link back to the opening statement, providing supporting arguments. The conclusion, he advises, should be brief, highlighting how each main point in the preceding paragraphs proves the answer presented in your opening statement.
