A powerful video showing two South African men buying food for young, hungry boys moved social media users.

The clip, filmed and shared on Facebook by BI Phakathi, was met with an outpouring of emotion and praise for humanity.

The video begins at a filling station, where young boys are standing next to a double cab at the pump, talking to the driver. One of the boys is approached by philanthropist BI Phakathi, and asked if there's something he needs, and he humbly asks for a cold drink. Without hesitation, he agrees and takes the boy inside the shop. Once inside, he playfully bumps into the man driving the bakkie, who is also in the shop with others.

Seeing the situation, the kind man tells the boy to take whatever they wants. The gentleman who offered to help then asked the young boy who had requested a cold drink if he was sure that was what he wanted, after seeing that he was holding a flavoured water and a few packets of chips. In a beautiful display of gratitude, the boy smiles broadly and agrees. BI Phakathi thanks the other man for his kindness and tells the children to go visit him in his car once they are done.

SA shows the two men love

The comments section was filled with reactions from social media users who were deeply moved. Many thanked the two strangers, saying that the world would be a better place with more people like them. Some were impressed by the kids' respectful nature, with many wishing they would get more permanent help. Others were impressed by the boys' respectful manner and praised their parents.
