A fan of award-winning South African influencer Grace Mondlana shared an old video of the 24-year-old holding a Thanksgiving ceremony with her church's congregation in her newly renovated house. The heartwarming moment of thanks left many social media users feeling inspired.

On 17 September, 2025, the fan page for the Johannesburg-based content creator uploaded a video to their Facebook account showing the preparations for the event.

She told online viewers why the congregants were coming to her home, stating:

"Grandma just wants to give thanks for the newly renovated house."

Many people featured in her video, including her family and friends, churchgoers, the catering team, and her young twin sisters. She even humorously showed herself hiding a bucket of scones that had been moved from the extra bedroom into a cupboard.

After the successful event, Grace sat in her car and said:

"I think I knew the magnitude of renovating my home, but today it hit deep in my heart that I actually did a thing. I'm so grateful to God, man. This wouldn't have been possible without Him. My grandma is happy, and the house is clean.
"This is the official last video of me talking about my home renovation."
