Andie Steele-Smith, an internationally recognised social entrepreneur, pastor, and public speaker, had the privilege of meeting Abdul-Muizz Croy, a Cape Flats graffiti artist who creates murals with his one hand. The brief story Andie shared online warmed the hearts of many.
On 11 February 2026, Andie, who shared the heartwarming story on his TikTok account, explained that Abdul's disability didn't stop him from creating the "most striking graffiti you'll see across Cape Town," more so in the Cape Flats.
"His work isn't just art, it's a message."
While speaking to Andie, Abdul shared that despite having one arm, he tries to stay positive, adding:

"My goal is to use my story to share with others that nothing is impossible, especially for the young guys out there. It's hard to find work, even for myself, that's why I'm trying to do and build something."
Abdul also shared his dream of starting his own mural company and making a change in schools and his community, noting that graffiti art isn't equivalent to vandalism, as some people would think.
