Bezos gifted his soon-to-be bride, Lauren Sanchez, a lavish R1.3 billion mansion in the exclusive residential area dubbed Billionaire Bunker.

According to New York Post, the luxurious haven is on the serene Indian Creek Island, boasting three bedrooms and an unmatched air of elegance.

Off-market house purchase

Bloomberg reported Bezos' purchase was no ordinary transaction, as the deal was off-market, underlining his latest acquisition's utmost exclusivity.

This move follows his and Sanchez's recent voyage aboard his multi-million yacht. This post-marriage proposal celebration took them sailing across the azure waters surrounding the Spanish island of Mallorca.

The proposal had the world in awe, featuring a colossal diamond ring valued at R47 million.

Bezos and Lauren's neighbours are an elite congregation of power players, including football legend Tom Brady, political figures Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, billionaire investor Carl Icahn, and even the enchanting Spanish crooner Julio Iglesias.

In a similar article, Briefly News reported that Jeff Bezos's ex-wife MacKenzie Scott parted ways with her second husband after being together for a few years.

Scott walked away from her marriage with Bezos with R668 billion and gave half to charity.

She and her ex-husband lasted a little more than a year before calling it quits for reasons unknown.
