Mother spotted with child in the early morning

On 4 April, lawyer Wahome Thuku shared a photo of Hannah King'ori and her daughter selling food on a trolley beside the road at 6 am.

He said that the mother was mentoring the young girl to become a businesswoman, an opinion many disagreed with.

Many said the woman had been forced to take the little one out on a chilly morning because she probably didn't have anyone to care for her.

Hannah confirmed that she walks around with her child all day and does not have someone to stay with at home.

"These days, you can't leave a child at home because it is not safe," she said.

Hannah's hubby took off to marry another woman

According to Hannah, the child's father left them and went to marry another woman; he doesn't help much.

"She doesn't go to school. I was planning that she goes end term. Right now, she is three and a half years old," she said.

Additionally, walking around selling snacks is not very easy, but it is the only way out for the mother of one as the business has a lot of competition, and one cannot sell from the same place.

"I wouldn't mind owning a grocery shop and selling from there at dawn is not safe for us. I wish to start a business from a good premises," she said.
