At the time, he was 30 and eager to settle down. @fabrisgassmoney expressed how he fully embraced his wife despite her past by saying:

"When I met her, I didn't let the fact that she was a single mother affect how I saw her. I treated her with so much love and respect."

He added:

"She told me the man responsible for her child abandoned her when she was pregnant, so I took responsibility for the child."

Later, he married her and legally changed her son’s surname to his own. According to his account, he invested heavily in both his wife and her child. He ensured the boy attended good schools, supported his wife in building a successful business, and provided her with financial stability.

By 2021, she had a car and even began building a house, which she claimed was for her mother. The couple went on to have two more children together, making them a family of five.

"I don't interfere in my wife's business; I respect her ideas, so I only encourage her to grow. I work full time, I'm my own boss, but I still make sure I go to work every day and spend the normal hours I've to at work, said @fabrisgassmoney.

He went on to say that every time he visited his wife, she was never at work and would always make excuses.

"Her excuse was always, she went to check on some materials. I have always believed her."

Over time, @fabrisgassmoney expressed how the topic of DNA testing became a subject of discussion in the office, which prompted him to question his own paternity. He was initially hesitant, but he eventually went through with the test, confident that the results would confirm his role as the father.

The revelation left him devastated. The DNA test results showed that none of the three children were biologically his. Shocked, @fabrisgassmoney stayed away from home for three days to process the news before confronting his wife in the presence of both families.

According to @fabrisgassmoney, his wife had been financially supporting her former lover throughout their marriage.

@fabrisgassmoney said that he repossessed everything he had provided her, including the house and car, before sending her away with the children to live with their biological father.

“Over 14 years that I was with her, she did nothing but deceive me. Make a fool out of me. I regret ever meeting her,” he wrote.

The post has drawn widespread reactions online since it was published on 27 August 2025 by the TikTok user @fabrisgassmoney, sparking discussions about trust, betrayal, and the emotional toll of infidelity.

Expert Paula Quinsee on infidelity and emotional impact

While speaking to Briefly News, certified relationship expert Paula Quinsee shared how infidelity, particularly long-term betrayal involving deception and hidden relationships, can be emotionally devastating by saying:

"Infidelity can be hugely traumatic for someone, and healing starts with separating the person who betrayed you from all future relationships. Betrayal often causes mistrust issues, so it’s important to remember that not everyone operates the same way."

The certified relationship expert expressed that seeking professional help can help process trauma and betrayal, while learning to take small risks in trust, starting with friends and potential partners, can help heal.

"Setting clear boundaries and non-negotiables for future relationships is critical in laying a strong foundation for both parties to work from. Trust isn’t rebuilt overnight; it’s restored gradually through consistent, reliable actions from others and the willingness to give trust a chance again," she added.
