Two South Africans made a playful TikTok song about the US and SA G20 standoff

“Young DJs are bringing a fresh energy into the industry. Their confidence, fearlessness and creativity are shifting the culture. They prove that talent has no age, and seeing them perform inspires both young and older DJs to push themselves. They’re also helping the industry evolve because they’re growing up with technology, so their learning curve is fast.”

He added that exploring different genres from a young age helps upcoming DJs build their identity and musical intelligence. In his words:

“It’s very important. Exploring different genres helps them develop a unique identity and sound. When they understand different genres early, they grow into versatile and adaptable DJs who can play anywhere.”

Official Skapino encouraged parents to support their children gently and help them grow without pressure. He said:

“Support them with patience and the right guidance. Create an environment where they can practice safely and freely. Don’t pressure them, let them enjoy learning. Also, expose them to different events, DJs, and music styles. Most importantly, invest in their confidence. A child who believes in themselves becomes unstoppable behind the decks.”

DJ Makoti, on the other hand, said she believes young children can make a real impact in the music scene thanks to their early exposure to digital platforms and diverse soundscapes. She explained to Briefly News:
