A group of tiny rugby fans from Port Alfred have captured the hearts of South Africans across the country. The video was shared on the Happy Hours Pre-Primary School's Facebook account on 30 August 2026 and quickly spread online, showing their young learners performing a full rendition of "Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika" outdoors.

Little Springboks, big hearts

The children, dressed in bright outfits and Springboks rugby gear, stood arm in arm as they sang every stanza of the national anthem together. They added hand actions for the final lines, and the moment they finished, the little ones erupted into cheers before scattering off to play.
