GAUTENG - A disturbing road rage video from Malibongwe Drive in North Riding, Randburg, spread rapidly across social media after Vehicle Trackers shared the footage on 29 August.
According to Vehicle Trackers, the incident began when a white taxi allegedly caused a collision involving a silver KIA. When the motorist stepped out to confront the taxi driver, the situation turned violent quickly. A second man also got out of a nearby vehicle and joined in the attack, leaving the motorist with a serious head wound that required stitches.
The footage shows blood on the injured man's head. Reports confirmed they had made contact with him and that he was recovering. The incident is under investigation.

Road rage warning after Randburg attack
The video prompted a wave of concern online, with many South Africans urging motorists to think twice before confronting other drivers, particularly taxi operators.
