GAUTENG - The South African Police Service (SAPS) has officially dismissed Major General Feroz Khan.
The decision was confirmed on 2 September 2026, with SAPS noting that he was removed under Regulation 9(7)(b) of the SAPS Discipline Regulations for failing to appear before a designated senior officer during an expeditious disciplinary process.
The announcement was made through an official SAPS statement which stressed that "no member, regardless of rank or position, is above the law or the applicable disciplinary framework," reiterating its commitment to accountability and professional conduct within the service.
