Tribute pours as Hulk Hogan passes on
There were rumours about him being in a coma weeks ago, but his wife, Sky, came out to squash the untrue reports, stating that her husband was fine and his heart was “strong” as he recovered from surgeries.
Popular WWE legend Ric Flair led the tributes and mourned the passing of Hulk Hogan.
"I am absolutely shocked to hear about the passing of my close friend @HulkHogan!
"Hulk was by my side from the very beginning of our journey in the wrestling world. More than just an incredible athlete and performer, he was a loyal friend and a devoted father. Our friendship meant everything to me. He showed up for me—always—even when I didn’t ask. When I was in the hospital fighting for my life with just a 2% chance of survival, he stood by my bedside and prayed for me.
"Hulk also lent me money when Reid was sick. Hulkster, no one will ever compare to you! Rest in peace, my friend! 🙏🏻"
The news about Hulk Hogan's death came a few days after the death of rugby legend Des van Jaarsveldt, who was the oldest living Springboks before another one emerged after his death.
