EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi Expresses Sadness on Lacklustre Bafana Bafana Performance

The Economic Freedom Fighters' Member of parliament Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has joined many supporters disappointed with Bafana Bafana.

Ndlozi took to Twitter to express his sadness as the national side could not secure a draw against Sudan on Sunday away from home.

Instead, 1996 African champions succumbed to a 2-0 loss on Sunday evening,. Just like many, Ndlozi the coach Molefi Ntseki has also expressed he is hurt with the result.

As they will not go to the 2021 CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament set to be staged in Cameroon, the outspoken politician's sentiment on social media has attracted comments from the fans.

“Bafana Bafana is like EFF when it matters the most they don't deliver..”

According to @Sibusis52882671, he believes there should be some changes in the team:

“Bring more whites players especially in back line.”

“You will be made to believe that the coach is the only problem and we have enough quality to compete but the truth is we don't. Let's forget about Bafana a little bit, we need to put in place measures that will feed the national team, good quality players.”

On the other hand, @Gwele_zola

“Overhaul Safa administration, bring in Lucas (Radebe), Doc Khumalo and a few others from 1996 team guys to run it. Launch a national grass roots development program and get someone like @robertmarawa to coordinate it outside of politics.”

@Ntozakhekoko said the players are to blame for the lack of national pride:

“They are disappointing, it IS like they don't see the value of playing for the national team, for them its just a platform to help themselves go play overseas. Our players are no longer doing enough because foreigners in the PSL outshine the majority of them.”

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki's job is now on the line, and will meet the football governing body to discuss his future.

This comes after the 1996 African champions were looking for a draw in their final qualifier against Sudan on Sunday evening, but the embattled coach failed to guide his men to a desirable result.
