Erik ten Hag is also under pressure to get his team to produce results and better performances on the pitch.

Alejandro Garnacho's goal was ruled out for offside, and Brighton pushed and eventually got the winner late on.

Who laughed at Erik ten Hag?

On his Wrighty’s House podcast, Ian Wright faulted Erik Ten Hag's decisions, especially the substitution of Fernandes.

“A lot of things happened in that game that I just couldn’t understand or see happening," he said via Football365.

He claims the Portuguese playmaker laughed at his manager during his substitution.

“Like I can’t understand why he took Bruno off and went so defensive. Why are you taking him off? When he [Fernandes] ran off, he was actually smiling and laughing. He was like, “what the (expletive)? I can’t believe this guy.”
