Recently, the Inter Miami superstar named some players he enjoyed playing with, and his list is incredible.
The 37-year-old left Barcelona in 2021 after a hugely successful stint, where he scored 672 goals and won 10 La Liga titles and four Champions League, per BBC.

During his time at Barcelona, he shared the pitch with icons like Ronaldinho, Xavi, and Andres Iniesta.
Some of his teammates at Barcelona are considered among the best in the world. Under Pep Guardiola, they dominated European football, playing some of the most exciting football.
After leaving Barcelona, he went on to inspire Argentina to a historic World Cup win in 2022.
Messi names his favourites
Recently, the Inter Miami veteran star named some of his favourite teammates.
"I was lucky to play for a long time at Barcelona... with many of the best players," he said via The Mirror. "Like Ronaldinho, Deco, Eto'o, Suarez, Xavi, [Andres] Iniesta, [Sergio] Busquets, I was lucky enough to play with the best players and enjoy the game with them. Speaking of which, I almost forgot about Neymar."
"Like Neymar, Eto'o, Suarez, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and [David] Villa and many more."
Messi won a record eight Ballon d'Or last year; many feel he is the greatest footballer in history.
Messi names favourite for Ballon d’Or
Briefly News earlier reported that Messi named Vinicius and Mbappe among the frontrunners for the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
The Ballon d’Or, which Ronaldo and Messi have largely dominated over the last decade, saw the Argentina captain add another fete to his record-extending accolade following his triumph at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
