What did Erik ten Hag say?
During his press conference after Man United's draw against Fenerbahce, the Dutchman said he has chosen to "deny" and "ignore" the game because of the red card shown to Fernandes.
"I deny that game, ignore that game against Spurs because we were downsized to 10 with a 1-0 losing position ... And then the red card was overturned. So I totally ignore that game," Ten Hag said via ESPN.
Fernandes' red card was overturned on October 1 after an appeal. Fans on social media were not happy with these comments from their under-fire manager.
