Carlo Ancelotti: Real Madrid Line Up Replacements After Poor Start to Season
- Real Madrid is reportedly looking at managerial replacements as pressure continues to mount on Carlo Ancelotti
- Ancelotti is yet to carve out a working formula for new signing Kylian Mbappe and the rest of the squad
- A section of fans are now calling for his dismissal after the big defeats to Barcelona and AC Milan at Santiago Bernabeu
Carlo Ancelotti's place as Real Madrid's manager is reportedly becoming untenable after a serious dip in form in recent weeks.
The veteran Italian manager is under fire for failing to make his galaxy of stars produce the desired results.
Real Madrid has struggled to accommodate their summer marquee signing Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman has cut a frustrated figure playing as the number 9 as Vinicius Junior comes from the left, his ideal position.
Is Kylian Mbappe struggling at Real Madrid?
Los Blancos have suffered back-to-back damaging defeats at Santiago Bernabeu, bringing into question Ancelotti's long-term future at the club.

They were walloped 4-0 by Barcelona in the league before going 3-1 down to AC Milan in the Champions League.
They are currently nine points behind Barcelona in the La Liga race, though they have played fewer games. Ancelotti needs to address the team's imbalance more urgently, especially after Lucas Vazquez's comments.
"Both defending and attacking is a collective issue, and we have to give a lot more to be able to win games," as quoted by Marca.
Who can replace Ancelotti as Real Madrid boss?
Sportskeeda now reports that the club is considering Raul Gonzalez and Santiago Solari as the mid-season interim replacements.
Raul is the current manager of the Castilla (Real Madrid B) team. His form in the lower league hasn't been great either, with Castilla only getting nine points from 11 league games this season.
Solari, meanwhile, has been in charge of the club. He took over from Julen Lopetegui in late 2018 but was sacked in March 2019.
Ancelotti reportedly singles Mbappe out for blame
Briefly News has also reported that Ancelotti has singled out one of his star players, which is a major factor affecting Real Madrid’s performance this season.
Ancelotti is said to attribute the squad's tactical imbalance primarily to Kylian Mbappé's limited defensive work rate.
