Fabian McCarthy opens up about his son, Aden
In a recent interview, Fabian confirmed how truly blessed he is to have Aden as his son, but cleared the notion that he's the only one who played a huge role in his life.
"I'm incredibly grateful and truly blessed to have Aden as my son. People often say, 'like father, like son,' but the truth is, his mother, my wife, has played a massive role, not only in my journey but also in Aden’s and both our sons' paths. As a family, we feel fortunate. To us, Aden isn’t a star; he’s our child," he said.
"He may be a role model to his brother and others, but we’re just thankful and prayerful that his journey continues in the right direction. We believe in letting his actions speak for themselves on the field. Discipline, determination, and dedication, those are the values we encourage him to hold close."

"I told him, ‘If you’re willing to make sacrifices for five years, those five years can shape the next fifty. Take care of yourself, stay grounded, and always know the difference between right and wrong," he added.
"Say yes when it's right, and don't be afraid to say no when needed. Stay focused, be yourself, and remember, this is a team game. Play your part, build trust with your teammates, understand the spirit of the game, and when you're out there, give it everything you’ve got.’”
