Pirates take a dig at Nabi, Chiefs

Nabi's exit from Kaizer Chiefs has been a major talking point in the South African football scene, as it came as a surprise to many fans.

Orlando Pirates’ media team quickly seized the opportunity, posting an animated video across their official platforms that poked fun at Kaizer Chiefs’ coaching turmoil.

The clip appeared to be a direct jab at remarks made earlier this year by Amakhosi team manager Bobby Motaung.

In April, footage surfaced of Motaung commenting on Pirates’ then-coach José Riveiro, who was on his way out after three seasons that yielded five trophies.

Motaung joked back then that “nothing will change at Chiefs next season,” hinting at stability in Naturena while rivals prepared for a shake-up.
