His comments follow Mbule’s standout display in Bafana Bafana’s 3-1 friendly win over Zambia at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, November 15, 2025, where the midfielder played the full 90 minutes and contributed two assists.

The match also marked his former teammate at Mamelodi Sundowns, Teboho Mokoena, who earned his 50th cap for the senior national team.

Mbule has faced criticism, mostly from fans, during his time with Mamelodi Sundowns, where his off-field issues were often highlighted alongside his on-field performance.
