South Africans Unmoved as Widow of Slain Activist Charlie Kirk Vows to Continue His Legacy

What did Kirk's wife say?

The mourning widow described her late husband as the perfect husband and father. Erika Kirk said that the perpetrators have no idea what they have done. She promised that the movement built by her husband would not die. She stated that she will never allow that to happen.

Speaking at a live video adress the widow said that she refuse to let her husband's hard work go in vein. She called the individuals responsible for the 31-year-old's death evil doers.

22-Year-old suspect arrested

A 22-year-old suspect, identified as Tyler Robinson, has been arrested on Friday, 12 September 2025. This comes after Robinson's father allegedly confronted him about his pictures before turning him in.

More images of the 22-year-old allegdly surfaced. He reportedly struck a pose with guns while wearing a Halloween outfit designed to look like he was riding on Trump’s shoulders. It took police more than 30 hours to initiate an arrest.

Murder weapon found in woods

Police found the alleged murder weapon in a wooded area near the scene of the crime. On Thursday, 13 September 2025, police shared more details about suspect including his clothing and movement after the shooting.

The family reached out to authorities and said that Robinson allegedly indicated that he committed the murder. It is further believed that the US President, Donald trump, stated that he would like the death penalty to be imposed on the suspect.
