South African celebs are very talented. They manage to have us glued to our TVs or we can't stop listening to what they say, but some of them are more than a pretty face.
In fact, the country has celebrities who have outstanding academic track records and impressive degrees.
Briefly.co.za gathered eight of South Africa's most famous people, who are not only talented but also very intelligent.
1. Candice Modiselle
The South African actress graduated with her Honours in Drama Arts at the university of Wits.
2. Rolene Strauss
The former Miss South Africa and Miss World is a doctor. She took a two year break from her studies for Miss World, but she eventually went back to school to finish her degree.
In 2017, she was awarded her Bachelors Medicine and Surgery at the University of Free State.
3. Zama Dube
Dube already has her Masters degree, but the radio personality is already looking to go higher.
She enrolled for her PhD at UCLA.
4. Ntando Kunene
Another former Miss SA on the list. These ladies prove there is more to a woman than her beauty.
Kunene has an Honours Degree in Curriculum Issues, and she does not keep her intelligence a secret.
5. K Naomi
The model has accomplished a lot in her life, including graduating with a BA degree in brand building and management.
6. Kerishnie Naicker
Naicker is the third former Miss South Africa to make it on the list. She won the pageant in 1997, while she already had an honours degree in Pharmacy behind her name.
At the time she was busy studying towards a Masters.degree.
Today, she specialises in healthcare, media and communications, and brand and reputation management, All4Women reported.
7. Thuli Phongolo
In 2016, South African actress Thuli Phongolo graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a Strategic Marketing degree.
8. Nomzamo Mbatha
Mbatha is currently busy studying towards a degree in accounting. The South African celeb would be reportedly handed her BCom accounting degree at the University of Cape Town in April this year.
