Inspiring woman explains how her dream of being a pilot came true

- A South African lady has taken to social media to share a rather inspirational story of how she became a pilot

- According to her post on Twitter, getting people to sponsor her pilot dream was difficult but it eventually came to past

- She shared her story hoping to inspire others never to give up

Identified as Tumi Carter Katisi, this brave and intelligent South African lady has proven that no matter how big your dreams are, it can be achieved with hard work and determination. She recently took to social media to share her ordeal.

According to the pretty pilot, sourcing for sponsorship was a Herculean task. According to her post, only 2 companies responded after she applied to 100 sponsors.

She wrote: "I applied for 100+ pilot training sponsors. Only 2 companies were interested. One pulled through with 80k. Almost got arrested trying to raise funds for flying. God saw my hustle and Blessed me with 4 other sponsors. Just wanted to share this with anyone who feels like giving up."

Tumi Carter Katisi could have abandoned her dreams of ever becoming a pilot but instead she remained resilient and persevered and it eventually paid off for her.

Her post was received with a lot of positive comments, many people who revealed they were inspired by her story.
