Does this mean they're back together? AKA says family gives him stability

With only a few hours away before he gets roasted at the Teatro in Monetcasino, AKA revealed that he isn't afraid of anything because of the peace and stability of being reunited with his family.

The rapper told TshiaLive that as he prepares to be shredded to pieces in tonight's Comedy Central's Roast of AKA, that he found peace and stability after being reunited with his family.

AKA and his baby mama, DJ Zinhle broke up in 2015 but several months ago have been teasing Mzansi about them getting back together after the were spotted a various events and even on secret baecations, and getting a little cosy with each other.

Although AKA did not confirm that he and DJ Zinhle are back together, he did mention that having his family renuited has given him joy and a new lease on life.

AKA told TshisaLive that he felt a like he was now in his happy place on a more personal level, and a little more calculated.

"I believe that my family has a lot to do with that, being together with my family again. It has given me stability and support."

He added that when there's stability in your life, it helps to focus on business and take better care of oneself. He also said making more money always makes you happier too.

AKA faces a tough firing squad which includes 9 Mzansi celebs such as Mark Fish, Papa Penny Penny, Moshe Ndiki, Nina Hastie, and his former nemesis, Pearl Thusi, who is the Roast Master.

AKA said he was honoured to be part of the roast tonight, which will push his brand as a pop icon. He also revealed that the cheque he receives from the show will go towards helping students.

Earlier today, Briefly.co.za reported that AKA had started a music scholarships called The Megacy Kid for budding artists.

AKA made the announcement on his Instagram account yesterday. He said together with MTV Base and Rise Academy SA, he is ready to help Mzansi's top aspiring young talent break into the music industry.
