The South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) attracts a wide array of international players, but not all of them leave a lasting impression.

Kabamba "He-Man" Musasa was not one of them as the one-season-wonder is still fondly remembered by many local fans.

Kaizer Chiefs signed the Democratic Republic of Congo forward from Saint Eloi Lupopo in his homeland.

Although some believe the nickname was coined due to his strength, it indeed arose as a result of the facial cream he applied to his face.

Musasa made an instant impact and supporters loved his direct approach as he troubled defenders.

The young striker also had a knack for popping up with some crucial goals.

Due to his exploits at the Amakhosi, the Turks came calling and he signed for Istanbulspor.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Musasa struggled in Europe and he soon returned to South African shores when he joined Maritzburg United.

The Daily Sun reported that Musasa was quite the journeyman as he played for Mpumalanga Black Aces, Primeiro de Agosto and Maccabi Herzliya, but his career never hit the same heights.
