For those of Nasty C's fans who did know and sometimes wondered why he chose the name 'Ivyson' for his successful tour, it's in honour of his late mother.
Her name was Ivy, making him Ivy's son - IVYSON. It is a beautiful way for the young rapper to have his mom be part of his success and is also why he got new tattoos recently.
The young rapper had the word IVYSON tattooed on his right hand and the symbols that his fans are familiar with - an eye, a 'V' and a sun - tattooed on his left hand.

Although many of Nasty's fans joked about getting the same tattoo done, it is obviously more than just cool ink to the young man.
Although Nasty keeps his private life out of the spotlight, he does often share things with his fans.
Recently, he said that he is in the studio, and that his homies who aren't alive anymore are with him, as reported on by Briefly.co.za earlier.
It really moved his fans and shows that for this rapper, just because you've passed away doesn't mean you will be forgotten.
