What a year 2019 has been for Naledi Chirwa. The UP drama student became one of the youngest MPs ever and her first speech in Parliament during the SONA Debate struck a cord with South Africans across the board. Citizens applauded her fearlessness, speaking out on the plight facing black people.

Chirwa has now taken a look back at the successful year. Taking to social media on New Year's Eve, the EFF MP shared several photos that perfectly capture 2019 and she strategically used emojis to express how thankful she is for all that happened.

Although the bright young politician focused only on the good in her post, 2019 did pose it's fair share of struggles for Chirwa.

Briefly.co.za previously reported the EFF leader, Julius Malema, openly threw shade at her during a speech earlier this month.

Mzansi has had mixed reactions after Malema lashed out at his own party member, Naledi Chirwa. This comes after Mzansi social media users expressed concern when a video was shared showing delegates bowing to him at the elective conference.

Juju slammed idolising the pastor and bowing down to him. He threw a jab, indicating that Naledi's parliamentary days may be numbered.
