Muso Tresor opens up about getting hijacked, kidnapped and robbed

- Tresor told his fans what happened, and asked them to keep a lookout for his car that was stolen

Musician Mukengerwa Tresor Riziki, better known simply as Tresor, shared the harrowing experience he had recently when dropping off a fellow artist.

Taking to social media, he shared that he and Batundi were hijacked, kidnapped and robbed in Linden, Johannesburg.

According to his statement, Tresor was driving in his Range Rover Evoque when the incident happened. They were held at gunpoint, handcuffed and kept in the vehicle's boot. The robbers kept them locked in the boot while they cleared out the artists' bank accounts.

The two were hijacked at night and only got released the following morning when they were dropped in Soweto.

Here's part of his post:

"Last night, whilst dropping off Batundi an artist from my label Jacquel, I was involved in a car hijacking and we were both kidnapped and robbed in Linden. The incident took place in the evening at 8:30PM. We only got released at approximately 4AM in a hostel area in Soweto."

The car is still missing and Trevor called on peeps to please keep an eye out for it.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the police is now investigating a case of hijacking.
