- Local artists, Nasty C and Youngsta CPT, have received nods of approval from Uganda

- The two have been nominated for the Rapper of the Year award at the Ugandan 256 Hip hop Awards 2020

Nasty C and Youngsta CPT have been working hard on their individual musical careers and it shows.

They've received recognition from Uganda for their achievements as rappers in Africa.

Both musos have been nominated for the Rapper of the Year award at the Ugandan 256 Hip Hop Awards 2020.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Nasty and Youngsta will be competing against some of Africa's best rappers across the continent. The awards are sponsored by The Kulture 256 and The Connected Foundation Inc.

The awards ceremony will be held on 15 May and the focus is on the celebration of musicians in the hip-hop genre who have done their best for the music scene.

Earlier, Youngsta was also able to bag the Album of the Year at the South African Hip-Hop Awards.

These musicians are doing their most and the rest of the world is taking notice.

Speaking about rewards - Minnie Dlamini-Jones really went all out while hosting the DStv Mzansi Viewers' Choice Awards.

She wanted to give viewers something special and that is exactly what she did when she had an impressive eight outfit changes.

From a gorgeous golden gown to a stunning red number, Minnie had everyone in awe.
