Nasty C really is outdoing himself! He just became the first African artist to have a Shazam Exclusive Playlist made of his tracks.
Making it onto any international platform, or receiving any international recognition, is huge for an African artist.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Apple Music has just launched the very first Shazam Exclusive Playlist for an African artist, and it’s for Nasty C.
Nasty C has recently signed with a huge American label, Def Jam Recordings, which is just one of is many notable achievements.
There is no denying that Nasty C has done the most in the shortest time. From the minute he hit the Mzansi hip-hop scene he was on fire.
Nasty C got to choose the songs that have been added to his Shazam Exclusive Playlist, and one of the tracks he decided to go with is his new single, There They Go; which will form part off his third album Zulu Man With Some Power.
"I chose these songs because they are my go-to tracks for when I’m in a good mood.
"I bang this list when I’m travelling, in the car and even in the shower. Music makes me feel free and unrestricted. It’s important to choose your playlist wisely."
This is just another notch on Nasty C’s career achievement belt and Mzansi is proud. He is really proving that Mzansi hip-hop artists have what it takes to break barriers and put their name on the map.
Nasty C’s fans are so proud of him and cannot wait to check the playlist out.
