Kuli Roberts to portray character of Mildred Sefatsa on 'The Queen'

TV and radio personality Kuli Roberts has bagged one of her biggest acting gigs in her career so far.
The sassy star is one of the new cast members of Mzansi's hit telenovelas, The Queen. Kuli joins the likes of Menzi Ngubane and Jessica Nkosi who have also bagged new roles on the show.
She will make her debut on the show in July.
The star will play the character of a 41-year-old glamorous woman, Mildred Sefatsa.
Kuli has revealed to Daily Sun that she did not audition for the role. She said she thought she was dreaming when she was asked to play Mildred.
"I did not audition for the role. I was approached to come on board and I was overwhelmed because this is a high-end production."
Her character will add a new twist to the show, according to Daily Sun.
"She's alive and is a people's person. She's very blessed but selfish at the same time."
Kuli says the cast and production team have been supportive since she began shooting for the show.
"Gratefully, I know a lot of the cast members. It is like being home."

The Queen's executive producers Connie and Shona Ferguson have expressed their happiness to have Kuli as one of the cast members.
"We look forward to her breathing life into Mildred. We know she will delight audiences and keep them entertained."
Kuli replied to a fan who asked whether she can act:
"I went to UCT Drama School hun."
Actor and TV presenter Aaron Moloisi commented:
"You gonna nail it. I have no doubt."
Briefly.co.za has reported that the character of Jerry Maake is permanently leaving . Maake, who is played by the show's co-producer Shona, will not be appearing in the telenovela's upcoming Season 5.
Connie said due to the influx of new characters joining the show, some of the current characters would not be returning.
