Actress Brenda Ngxoli has bagged a role on one of Mzansi's favourite shows. She has joined the stellar cast of hit soapie, The Queen.

Brenda took to social media to share with her fans that she is joining her "favourite show" following her recent SAFTA win.

The star posted on Twitter:

"What an amazing week it's been, SAFTA win, Mzansi and now I'm joining my favourite show which I watched religiously when I was in them villages."

Kuli Roberts, Jessica Nkosi and Menzi Ngubane are also just some of the stars who have joined the soapie.

Brenda, 39, has just scooped her third SAFTA award. She won the Best Supporting Actress in a TV drama for her role as Nomonde in Mzansi Magic’s iThemba.

Brenda's fans have also congratulated her for joining The Queen.

Briefly.co.za has reported that Brenda has recently returned to Johannesburg after a seven-year-break. She had decided to go back to her roots in Xolobe Village in Tsomo to live the simple life for a bit.
