DJ Black Coffee and Prince Kaybee have continued to trend on Twitter following their little spat on Thursday.

The DJs took shots at each other after Kaybee shaded Mzansi celebs for trying to sound intelligent on social media.

Kaybee shaded Coffee's friend, DJ Euphonik, and Mzansi celebs after a tweeter user, Koshiek Karan, dragged him for urging people to purchase property amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The DJ dragged celebs who tried to sound intelligent "after consuming a few YouTube videos".

The Superman hitmaker then sarcastically asked Kaybee: "Are you a celebrity?"

The internationally-acclaimed DJ took to Twitter later on Thursday to try and iron things out with Kaybee.

"In your statement you were excluding yourself as a celebrity hence my question... I wasn't fighting, I wish you spent time understanding it. But manje sila (now we're here)... Wishing you all the best."

Coffee has also deleted the tweet asking Kaybee whether he was a celebrity or not.

The Uwrongo hitmaker has made it clear that he doesn't want Coffee's apology.

"I don't want his apology, Black Coffee has always disliked me, a few years ago I won an award of a category he wanted at the Metro FM awards, 'Best Remix'. You know what he said? His Alicia Keys remix is official and played all over. So he doesn't get how I won."

Coffee again tried to clear the air between the two. He said he has never disliked Kaybee and has never said such about any award.

"So your response comes from this? That's where you're wrong, I've never disliked you... Dude I don't even know you... But I'm a fan (and) I've played your songs everywhere since you started you know this... And no I've never said such about any award... Who did I say this to?"

Briefly.co.za has reported that some of the celeb twars that went viral include that of AKA and his arch-rival Cassper Nyovest, Emtee and Cass and Prince Kaybee and DJ Maphorisa.
