It is that time of the year again, South African Music Awards time, and Prince Kaybee is shining bright like the star that he is. The SAMA26 Awards nominations are out and things are getting real.

The SAMAs always create big hype in Mzansi. People feel really strongly about who deserves nominations and who doesn’t and this year is no different.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Prince Kaybee’s hustle has come through for him in the SAMA26 nominations with him having bagged four for himself.

There is no denying that Prince Kaybee has done the most to get these nominations. Being nominated for Record of the Year (ROTY) and Music Video of the Year (MVOTY) for his two lit tracks Fetch Your Life, featuring Msaki, and Gugulethu, featuring Afro Brothers, Indlovukazi and Supta, Kaybee feels extremely proud.

K.O is another artist who hasn’t done all that badly with nominations either. K.O managed to scoop three for his hit songs Say You Will featuring Nandi Madida and Supa Dupa. He's been putting in the hours and hustling hard.

Other lit Mzansi artists who have also received nominations are Lady Zamar, Sun-El Musician, AKA, Nasty C, DJ Zinhle, Kwesta, DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Samthing Soweto and Blaq Diamond.

The fact that Master KG's smash hit Jerusalema featuring Nomcebo and Motorokisi by Makhadzi did not receive any recognition is something that has had the people going. Peeps feel these deserved nominations and took to social media to make it known.

Briefly.co.za previously reported on how sure K.O was that he would be walking away from this years SAMAs victorious and it looks like he might just have a chance.

K.O feels that he has done enough work to warrant him bagging a SAMA and with his three nominations, he is now feeling more confident than ever before.
