- A picture of Rasta alongside a painting he recently made of departed celeb, Thandeka Mdeliswa, has become the object of tons of laughter
- The Photoshop edit of the picture was done by popular Twitter account, The Fixer
- Tweeps seemed to love watching Rasta get a taste of his own medicine, laughing loudly in the comment section
Twitter users were having the time of their lives on the app recently after The Fixer shared some images that he "fixed" on his timeline. The latest victim of his clean-up efforts is none other than the controversial public figure and artist, Rasta.
Rasta, who is known for paintings that either inspire or upset, received a whole new face from The Fixer, who claims to be fixing the world one Photoshop edit at a time. The before-and-after pictures of Rasta were placed next to each other in The Fixer's funny post.
The "fixed" version of Rasta, who was recently criticised for his paining of Thandeka Mdeliswa, a victim of gender-based violence, was a source of endless laughter from Twitter users who seemed to love seeing the artist getting a taste of his own medicine.
Here are some of the comments made by tweeps who seemingly had a ball looking at the new Rasta. @Khubekasmash decided to give Rasta a new name - "Rasticia".
"I wonder who painted Bab' uMlangeni for him coz now it is clear that it was not him."
"Daniel Rasta, he looks like Daniel Marvin though."
@Cameronmomoo thanked The Fixer for his good work.
"Thank you Rumani for cleaning this Rasta and don’t forget to take the drawing pencils/sticks away from him."
Briefly.co.za previously reported Mzansi is growing tired of Rasta's art; some people see him as a visionary but others feel that he is not that good. On top of that, some social media users are accusing him of disrespecting the memories of the departed.
Briefly.co.za learned that his latest portrait is of Thandeka Mdeliswa, who tragically lost her life after an argument turned deadly. Mzansi was not impressed by his decision to paint the late celebrity. Thato_Rachidi had this to say about the painting:
"Yazz... you love forcing things Rasta, find another hobby, sell weed my brother, this painting thing is not for you because you'll draw someone who doesn't tolerate nonsense and it will end in tears I tell you!"
