Pitso Mosimane just led his new team Al Ahly to victory during their first match with him as their coach. Al Ahly saw themselves achieving a 1-0 victory over the opposing team, Al Mokawloon, in the Egyptian Premier League last night.

Pitso, who is the former coach of South African team, Mamelodi Sundowns, was signed to Al Alhy last week, replacing the team's former coach, Rene Weiler. His new venture comes very shortly after he led Mamelodi Sundowns to victory during the Premier Soccer League games

Speaking at the post-match conference, Pitso can be heard asking everyone not to get ahead of himself since he is very new to the team. He also joked that he had found a hospital ward there, asking people to pray for him.

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za also reported that South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has said Pitso Mosimane's signing to Al Ahly Football Club is an endorsement of South African talent. Ramaphosa says that the signing proves that Mosimane's signing is an endorsement of South African talent, according to News24.
