The EFF were cautious in their response, neither congratulating Biden or making a judgement on the election, instead, the party took the opportunity to cement their position on American foreign policy in Africa and the middle east.

The party said that it is too early to congratulate Biden and he will earn his praise when he leaves office based on what he has done while in power.

Julius Malema was more scathing on his response to Donald Trump's constant denial that he was losing the election and vacuous claims that there was massive voter fraud.

Malema called Donald Trump a "cry baby" and urged him to accept defeat.
