- AKA took to social media to share some thoughts on the irritation he was experiencing with loadshedding
- The star posted about the anticipation of when loadshedding is scheduled to occur and waiting to see the power go off
- Tweeps responded to Supa Mega with their own experiences and gripes about the electricity going out
AKA went online to commiserate with his followers about loadshedding and scheduled power outages.
The rapper posted about the feeling of anticipation and suspense that one experiences right before the time that the power is supposed to go off.
Tweeps responded to the sentiment with similar feelings and shared their own annoyance at the inconvenient times that the electricity goes out.
"Nothing quite like the suspense of sitting and waiting for the power to go out."
Supa Mega's followers responded to his tweet with their own gripes about loadshedding and some asking why AKA hadn't found a different solution to not having power at his house:
@MHlombe: "Khenana you don't have a Generator bafo?"
@NextBigThing316: "Loadshedding is another pandemic"
@Nappyhair_Boy: "You start counting down yourself, like new year but not with anticipation"
There was also a humourous exchange between two of the replies when one tweep used a different word from the one he intended:
@tk_kutama replied to AKA saying:
"Hau Mega why am I buying your songs if you’re not gonna take the many and buy a geyser?"
To which @JUSTERMABESA responded:
"I'm sure you wanted to say generator."
In previous AKA-related news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on the rapper posting a throwback photo of himself, his dad and his younger brother and how much fans loved it.
AKA took to social media a few days back to share a sweet childhood snap of himself, his younger brother and dad when they were still young. The rapper took to his Twitter and Instagram accounts to share the snap of the three men from the Forbes family.
Supa Mega hilariously shared that he's the "star" among the Forbes men who are in the pic. The Fela In Versace hitmaker captioned his post on Instagram:
"Original Forbes @tonydforbes, Star Forbes and Young Forbes @nicky__heat."
Mega's girlfriend Nelli Tembe was among the first people to react to the cute snap. The rapper's gorgeous bae wrote:
"Forbes genetics (are) too strong."
Other social media users took to the musician's comment section to share their thoughts on the picture. Check out some of their comments below:
"Uncle Tony and the boys."
"Keeping up with the Forbes."
"Now I see where your ears come from AKA - your DAD."
"You look like Kairo here Bud."
